Highly Efficient Removal of Cu(II) from Aqueous Solution by Using Graphene Oxide

TL;DR: Graphene oxide (GO) prepared by modified hummers method was used as adsorbent for removal of heavy metal ions in water treatment as discussed by the authors, and the sorption process conformed to the Freundlich isotherm, and the maximum sorption capacity of 117.5mgg−1 was observed at an initial pH value of 5.3 after agitating for 150min.
Journal ArticleDOI

Supercapacitor based on electropolymerized polythiophene and multi-walled carbon nanotubes composites

TL;DR: In this article, polythiophene (PTh) was electropolymerized onto multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode in ionic liquid bmimPF6 solution successfully.
Journal ArticleDOI

Graphene covalently functionalized with poly(p-phenylenediamine) as high performance electrode material for supercapacitors

TL;DR: In this paper, a reduced graphene oxide poly(p-phenylenediamine) (RGO-PPD) composite was used for supercapacitor, which exhibited a layered-stacking structure and had a large surface area (674.22 m2 g−1).
Journal ArticleDOI

Supercapacitors based on high-quality graphene scrolls

TL;DR: Encouraging results indicate that GSS based on the topological structure of graphene sheets are a kind of promising material for supercapacitors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation of Pd/MnO2-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposite for methanol electro-oxidation in alkaline media

TL;DR: In this paper, the electrocatalytic behavior of the Pd/MnO 2 -RGO for methanol oxidation was studied using cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry.
