PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection method that facilitates estimating the direction and distance of a target on a three-dimensional display image, that gives a display with high visibility including a nearby area of the ship possessing the display, and that reduces a calculation amount for projection. SOLUTION: A virtual projection area PA is set on a reversed conical face RC having a vertical line passing an origin O as a center line of rotation; and a fan-like display object region OA is projected onto the projection area PA. A view point V is provided with an offset from a reference position QC on the vertical line, and the view point V is moved along an arc so that the view line in observation of the display object area OA from the view point V through the projection area PA passes the vertical line. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform synthetic display of meteorological images in any data form by aligning scales, directions and position relation.SOLUTION: Latitude lines Li and longitude line Lk are extracted from a plurality of meteorological images, and a graphic Ob which is surrounded by the latitude lines Li and the longitude lines Lk is considered as a marker. Namely, an area that coincides with the extracted graphic Ob is searched while changing size of the graphic Ob and rotating the graphic Ob at a 90 degree pitch of inclination. Then, the size of the graphic Ob when coincidence is generated in matching becomes a magnification/reduction rate of one meteorological image to the other meteorological image, the direction of the graphic becomes a direction of one meteorological image to the other meteorological image, and a searched part where the coincidence is generated becomes position relation of one meteorological image to the other meteorological image.

Device and program for displaying meteorological image

PURPOSE:To provide a display system which makes it possible to synthetically display a plurality of meteorological data of different attributes by converting respective meteorological data into specific coordinate systems to be unified in a system which displays a plurality of meteorological data of different attributes. CONSTITUTION:An input display request 8 is judged by a data attribution judgment part 1 and, if necessary, converted into a longitude/latitude coordinate data by a longitude/latitude coordinate conversion part 2, and the longitude/ latitude coordinate data is converted into display XY coordinates by a display coordinate conversion part 3 and displayed on a display 7 as a display data 9.
