Creation of Air-Cooled Mn Series Bainitic Steels

TL;DR: In this article, the development and mechanical performances of new type air-cooled Mn series bainitie steels including granular and cast bainite/martensite steels are summarized.
Journal ArticleDOI

The failure models induced by white layers during impact wear

TL;DR: In this paper, the characteristics of impact wear of high hardness steel have been studied by repetitive impact testing, and the subsurface microstructure and wear debris have been investigated, and both wear resistance and failure models are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fine structure and formation mechanism of bainite in steels

TL;DR: Based on the findings regarding the multi-layer structure of bainite, it is proposed in this article, where the sympathetic nucleation-ledgewise growth (SNLG) mechanism is theoretically discussed and practically applied to explain the multilayer structure of Bainite.
Journal ArticleDOI

Surface relief accompanying martensitic transitions in an Fe-Ni-C alloy by atomic-force microscopy and phenomenological theory of martensitic crystallography.

TL;DR: In this paper, the surface relief induced by martensite in an Fe-Ni-C alloy with atomic-force microscopy (AFM) quantitatively was studied, and the phenomenological theory of martensitic crystallography (PTMC) was applied to calculate surface relief angle and compare with that obtained by AFM.
