TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the impact of telemedicine on the hospital's tele-management of chronic diseases in the presence of a pandemic and found that tele-medicines may not always benefit the hospital and that it is better not to introduce tele-medical services in some cases since it may exacerbate the negative influence of the pandemic on hospital's total costs.
