A novel grey target decision-making model based on cobweb area and its application for choosing the software development pattern

In multiattribute grey target decision making, the decision maker (DM) may have certain preferences for some attributes. The impacts of two types of DM’s preferences for some attribute values on alternatives were studied. To deal with the attribute preferences of a DM, a generalised grey target decision method was presented. The proposed method required that the index values of all alternatives were not normalised. The target centre index values can be obtained by substituting DM’s preference values for some of the original target centre index values as determined by the alternatives themselves. Following this, the proposed generalised method was used to calculate the target centre distances. A case study showed that this method of handling DM’s preferences for some attributes was effective.

With regard to the interaction between attributes which has influenced on decision results in Multiple attribute decision making, a multiple attribute decision making method of interval grey number based on degree of greyness and Choquet integral is presented. Degree of greyness of interval grey number is proved as a measure according to its definition, then discrete Choquet integral of degree of greyness of interval grey number is defined, and some of its properties are investigated. The weight of each attribute or attribute set is determined by Using degree of greyness of interval grey number and considering expert opinion, and the effect evaluation vector of each scheme are integrated based on Choquet integral. Finally, an example on Ning meng of the Yellow River disaster was also presented to illustrate the usefulness and effectiveness of the proposed method. 6

Approach for multiple attribute decision-making with interval grey number based on Choquet integral

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to propose the grey target decision method based on three-parameter interval grey number for dealing with multi-attribute decision-making problems under uncertain environment. Design/methodology/approach – First, the kernel and ranking method of three-parameter interval grey number are defined, which is the basis of determining the positive and negative bull’s-eye. Next, a new distance measure of three-parameter interval grey number is defined in view of the importance of the “center of gravity” point. Furthermore, a new comprehensive bull’s-eye distance is proposed based on the kernel which integrates the distance between different attributes to the positive and negative bull’s-eye. Then attribute weights are obtained by comprehensive bull’s-eye distance minimum and grey entropy maximization. Multi-attribute grey target decision method with three-parameter interval grey number

Taking into account the correlation among different indexes as well as the influences of both different dimensions and differences of importance on effect of decisions,this paper deals with improving traditional grey target decision methods with the approach of weighted Mahalanobis distance and discusses the property of the improved grey target method.The results indicate that the improved grey target could meet the invariance of effect samples after nonsingular linear transformation caused by clout distance;the weighted Mahalanobis distance is just the weighted Euclidean distance when there is no correlation among observed indexes,which avoids correlation of decision indexes,influences of different dimension and differences of importance on effect of decisions,and the incompatibility of grey target transformation.Finally,the effectiveness and availability of the model are proved by a real case in point.
