Journal ArticleDOI

A multi-spectroscopic approach to investigate the interaction of prodigiosin with ct-DNA.

TL;DR: The interaction between prodigiosin and calf thymus DNA (ct-DNA) was investigated firstly by using UV-Visible, fluorescence, Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopies and viscosity measurement in Tris-HCl buffer solution and experimental results indicated that PG intercalated into the DNA helix.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies on the binding behavior of prodigiosin with bovine hemoglobin by multi-spectroscopic techniques

TL;DR: Synchronous fluorescence studies, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and circular dichroism (CD) spectra reveal that the conformation of BHb is changed after conjugation with PG, and the hydrophobic interactions play a major role in binding of PG to Bhb.
Journal ArticleDOI

A facile method for hemoglobin encapsulation in silica nanoparticles and application in biosensors

TL;DR: In this article, a facile approach for hemoglobin encapsulation in silica nanoparticles (HbSNs) is reported, and the results display that the HbSN keeps its structures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison and investigation of bovine hemoglobin binding to dihydroartemisinin and 9-hydroxy-dihydroartemisinin: spectroscopic characterization.

TL;DR: The comparison results suggest that the binding of BHb with DHA is more stable and stronger than 9-OH DHA, and Steady state/time resolved and synchronous fluorescence spectroscopy reveal that thebinding constant of DHA with Bhb is bigger than9-OHDHA.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparison of 9-hydroxy-artemisinin with artemisinin: Interaction with bovine hemoglobin

TL;DR: In this paper, the binding constants of artemisinin (QHS) and 9-hydroxy-artemisinins (9-OH QHS) with bovine hemoglobin (BHb) were investigated.
