Phase-boundary potential across the nonpolarized interface between the room-temperature molten salt and water

TL;DR: The phase-boundary potential across the interface between an aqueous phase (W) and a room-temperature molten salt (RTMS) that is sparingly soluble in W has been theoretically elucidated and experimentally confirmed using potentiometry for the RTMSs, 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium salts of bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide and bis(pentafluoroethylsulfonyl) imides.

Determination of the potential of zero charge of Au(111) electrodes modified with thiol self-assembled monolayers using a potential-controlled sessile drop method

TL;DR: In this paper, the potential of the thiol-modified Au(1.1) electrode has been determined for self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of octadecanethiolate (ODT), undecanet (UDT), propanethiolates (PT), and 1H,1H,2H, 2H-perfluorodecanethio-deca-decanethiotemporal (PFDT) by measuring the contact angle of a drop of an aqueous 0.1 mol−3 NaCl
