Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrogen–deuterium exchange mass spectrometry for determining protein structural changes in drug discovery

TL;DR: A review of basic concept and methodology of HDX-MS, how it is being applied for identifying the sites and structural changes in proteins following their interactions with other proteins and small molecules, and the potential of this tool to help in drug discovery are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Activity-Regulated Cytoskeleton-Associated Protein (Arc/Arg3.1) is Transiently Expressed after Heat Shock Stress and Suppresses Heat Shock Factor 1

TL;DR: It is concluded that Arc/Arg3.1 is transiently expressed after heat shock and negatively regulates HSF1 in the feedback loop of HSR, a negative regulator of heat shock response (HSR).
Journal ArticleDOI

Evidence for the dimerization-mediated catalysis of methionine sulfoxide reductase A from Clostridium oremlandii.

TL;DR: Evidence is reported that CoMsrA can undergo homodimerization during catalysis, and a novel dimerization-mediated mechanism for Co MsrA catalysis that is additionally involved in CoMsRA regeneration by glutaredoxin is suggested.
