Journal ArticleDOI

Multi-functional pH-sensitive active and intelligent packaging based on highly cross-linked zein for the monitoring of pork freshness.

TL;DR: In this paper , a novel intelligent packaging film with pH sensitivity and antibacterial and antioxidant effects was developed based on the highly cross-linked zein, and the composite film with 0.05 g/g crosslinking agent had the best mechanical properties.
Journal ArticleDOI

Essential oil-loaded antimicrobial and antioxidant zein/poly(lactic acid) film as active food packaging

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used PLA, a very popular synthetic biodegradable material, was mixed with zein, a widely studied food packaging material, and the plasticizer PEG to make a composite film ZLP.
Journal ArticleDOI

Neuroprotective Treatments for Ischemic Stroke: Opportunities for Nanotechnology

TL;DR: In this paper , a review summarizes novel neuroprotective treatments for stroke, especially nanotechnology assisted advanced targeted therapies, and future prospects and challenges are also discussed for the development of neuro-protective nanomaterials.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improving Regulation of Polymeric Proanthocyanidins and Tea Polyphenols against Postprandial Hyperglycemia via Acid-Catalyzed Transformation.

TL;DR: In this paper , a novel protocol was established to synthesize novel α-glucosidase inhibitors (prodelphinidin B gallates) from proanthocyanidins from Chinese bayberry leaves (BLPs) and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) via acid-catalyzed transformation, which had improved regulation against post-prandial hyperglycemia.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Chlorotoxin‐Directed Diselenide‐Bridged Tumor‐Homing Persistent Luminescence Nanoprobes Mediating Inhibition of Oxidative Phosphorylation for Long‐Term Near‐Infrared Imaging and Therapy of Glioblastoma

TL;DR: In this article , the authors developed a near-infrared (NIR) persistent luminescence (PL) nanoparticle, CUDZG, with a dual function of imaging and therapy.
