Modeling multiple humanitarian objectives in emergency response to large-scale disasters
TL;DR: An integrated multi-objective optimization model that combines resource allocation with emergency distribution is developed, where a time space network is used to incorporate the frequent information and decision updates in a rolling horizon approach as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Emergency Logistics in a Large-Scale Disaster Context: Achievements and Challenges.
Yiping Jiang,Yufei Yuan +1 more
TL;DR: This paper identifies key characteristics of large-scale disasters and assess their challenges to emergency logistics and discusses existing gaps in the relevant research and suggest future research directions.
Journal ArticleDOI
A two-stage resource allocation model for lifeline systems quick response with vulnerability analysis
TL;DR: This study focuses on a resource allocation and schedule problem to restore the most critical components quickly in the multiple interdependent lifeline infrastructures under disruptions, and demonstrates that the proposed approaches are both efficient and effective to solve the real-life post-disaster resource allocation problem.
Journal ArticleDOI
Active Control on Path Following and Lateral Stability for Truck–Trailer Combinations
TL;DR: The numerical results demonstrate that the TTC with A TS system improves both low-speed path following and high-speed lateral stability compared with the baseline TTC without ATS system, and the designed controllers have good performance on reducing PFOT and RWA in any maneuvre conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
