Rubber modified polyphenylene oxide composition

TL;DR: In this paper, a novel composition which has been improved in elongation and impact resistance is obtained by blending polyphenylene oxide with a small amount of a rubbery polymer, while said composition still retains excellent properties inherent to poly phenylene oxide itself, as they are, for example, thermal resistance, chemical resistance, mechanical and electrical properties.

Production of modified polyphenylene oxide

TL;DR: A relatively small amount of styrene can be smoothly graft-polymerized on a polyphenylene oxide with a high graft efficiency and in a high polymerization yield by polymerizing 0.4 to 2 parts by weight of a styrene compound in the presence of 1 part by weight or 15 to 60 parts by bodyweight of a polyethylene glycol (PEG) compound as mentioned in this paper.

Modified polyphenylene oxide and method for production thereof

TL;DR: In this article, a modified version of the pseudoenyleneside oxide was used to solve an AQUEOUS DISPERSION CONTAING AN ANIONIC OR NON-IONIC SURFACTANT, a RADICAL INITIATOR and a solvent for the polyphenylene oxide.
