Ink jet recording apparatus

Yomo Makoto
TL;DR: In this paper, a recording head is used to discharge a gas remaining in an ink tank connected to the recording head by a simple mechanism, whereby an ink level is raised and the float shuts the discharge opening.

Ink jet recorder

Yomo Makoto
Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent variation of a quantity of ejected ink during recording even when using an ink tank having a large capacity for storing ink by providing a means for adjusting a height of the ink tank such that a liquid level in the ink tank is always equal to a height of an ink ejection face of a recording medium. SOLUTION: Each of ink tanks 25 (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d) is supported with each of spring bases 22 (22a, 22b, 22c, 22d) such that it is balanced with an upward elastic force of each of the respective spring bases which are independently provided. In this structure, when ink in the ink tank 25 on the spring base 22 is consumed and the weight thereof is reduced by, for example, 12g, the liquid level is lowered by 10 mm. However, as the ink tank 25 is urged upward by the spring, it is lifted by 10 mm, thereby balancing the weight with the reduction of the ink. As a result, the height of the liquid level in the ink tank 25 is maintained at a constant level. As the damper is provided thereto, it is possible to suppress the vibration of the liquid level even when a sudden change in condition, such an earthquake, occurs.

Disk-shaped recording medium

Yomo Makoto
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed to use a backing disk having a center hole whose diameter is larger than a diameter of the center hole of a recording disk to suppress the eccentric quantity of a track to the minimum and to improve the stability of tracking.

Correction optical device, image blur correction device, and imaging apparatus

Yomo Makoto
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a correction optical device, an image blur correction device, and an imaging apparatus which can be reduced in size and cost and reduced in power consumption, but the system required at least first and second contact members.
