BRCA1/2 mutations and FMR1 alleles are randomly distributed: a case control study This article has been corrected since online publication and a corrigendum also appears in this issue.
Efrat Dagan,Yoram Cohen,A di Mory,Vardit Adir,Zvi Borochowitz,Hila Raanani,Alina Kurolap,Svetlana Melikhan-Revzin,Dror Meirow,Ruth Gershoni-Baruch +9 more
TL;DR: The notion that BRCA1/2 mutations are embryo-lethal unless rescued by the low FMR1 subgenotypes is hereby refuted.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ethnicity has a multiplex impact upon the risk of a full mutation expansion among female heterozygotes for FMR1 premutation.
Noam Domniz,Noam Domniz,Liat Ries Levavi,Liat Ries Levavi,Michal Berkenstadt,Michal Berkenstadt,Elon Pras,Elon Pras,Yoram Cohen,Yoram Cohen,Hila Raanani,Hila Raanani,Dana Brabbing Goldstein,Yuval Yaron,Yuval Yaron,Shai E. Elizur,Shai E. Elizur,Shay Ben-Shachar +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated whether ethnicity affects the risk of full mutation expansion among females heterozygous for FMR1 premutation in women who underwent fragile X prenatal diagnosis between 2011 and 2018 in two medical centers in Israel.
Journal ArticleDOI
1,3-Diphenylbenzo(c)furan Dianion (II): NMR Characterization of a 4nπ Heterocyclic Dianion Containing Oxygen.
Journal ArticleDOI
Self‐Assembly Dynamics of Modular Homoditopic Bis‐calix[5]arenes and Long‐Chain α,ω‐Alkanediyldiammonium Components.
Giuseppe Gattuso,Anna Notti,Andrea Pappalardo,Melchiorre F. Parisi,Ilenia Pisagatti,Sebastiano Pappalardo,Domenico Garozzo,Angela Messina,Yoram Cohen,Sarit Slovak +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, 1H NMR spectroscopy and ESI-MS studies of 1/Cn·2Pic modular homoditopic pairs support the formation of discrete (bis)-endo-cavity assemblies with the shorter C8 and C9 connectors, and poly(poly)capsular assembly with the longer C10−C12 components under appropriate concentrations and molar ratios (50 mM equimolar solutions).
