Ameliorating the Courant-Friedrichs-Lewy condition in spherical coordinates: A double FFT filter method for general relativistic MHD in dynamical spacetimes

TL;DR: In this paper , a double FFT filter is proposed for numerical solution of coupled spacetime and general relativistic magnetohydrodynamics evolutions by using MPI-parallelized SphericalNR framework in the Einstein Toolkit.

Comparison of post-newtonian and numerical evolutions of black-hole binaries

TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare the waveforms from the post-Newtonian approach with the numerical simulations of generic black-hole binaries which have mass ratio q 0.8, arbitrarily oriented spins with magnitudes S 1/m 2 -0.6 and S 2 /m 2 −0.4, and orbit 9 times from an initial orbital separation of r 11M prior to merger.
