Evaluation and clinical implications of the time to a positive results of antigen testing for SARS-CoV-2.
Shigeyuki Notake,Yusaku Akashi,Yoshihiko Kiyasu,Yoshihiko Kiyasu,Atsuo Ueda,Yuto Takeuchi,Kato Daisuke,Hiroichi Ishikawa,Miwa Kuwahara,Yusaku Akashi,Yuto Takeuchi,Shino Muramatsu,Justin R. Ellis,Atsuo Ueda,Arnab Majumdar,Shigeyuki Notake,Koji Nakamura,Hiroichi Ishikawa,Hiromichi Suzuki +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors collected additional nasopharyngeal samples from patients who had already tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 by reverse transcription PCR and used the swab for an antigen test, QuickNavi™-COVID19 Ag, and the time periods to get positive results were measured.

Diagnostic performance of a novel digital immunoassay (RapidTesta SARS-CoV-2): A prospective observational study with nasopharyngeal samples
Shigeyuki Notake,Yoshihiko Kiyasu,Atsuo Ueda,Hiroichi Ishikawa,Yusaku Akashi,Yuto Takeuchi,Justin R. Ellis,Arnab Majumdar +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a novel digital immunoassay (RapidTesta SARS-CoV-2) was proposed for the detection of infectious disease pathogens, but there have been insufficient data concerning SARS co-v-2 Immunoassays.

Journal ArticleDOI
Pericarditis caused by Campylobacter fetus subspecies fetus associated with ingestion of raw beef liver.
TL;DR: The causative organism, recovered from the pericardial effusion, was unidentifiable with commercial systems but determinable with molecular methods at the subspecies level and the patient fully improved with pericardiocentesis and subsequent administration of ciprofloxacin for a total of four weeks.
