A screw type dewatering machine according to the present invention includes inner and outer sleeves (1, 2), an annular space chamber (3) defined therebetween, a coil-like screw (4) rotatably disposed in the annular space chamber (3), and drain screens (5, 12) disposed on the inner sleeve (1) and/or the outer sleeve (2), and is characterized in that a support ring (16) is attached to the outer periphery of one end of the coil-like screw (4) and is rotatably supported by the outer sleeve (2).

PURPOSE:To accurately and easily made a survey by sending a P wave, an S wave, and a Rayleigh wave into the ground from oscillators for the P wave, S wave, and Rayleigh wave which are provided on the front surface plate of a shield main body. CONSTITUTION:The vibration generator (oscillator) 5 which generates the Rayleigh wave B (surface wave) is provided nearby the center of the surface plate 2a of a cutter head 2 and at least two hydrophones 6 which detect the underground transmitted wave of the Rayleigh wave generated by the vibration generator are provided nearby the vibration generator 5 at a specific mutual distance. The Rayleigh wave which is sent into the ground from the vibration generator 5 reaches the closer hydrophone 6 first and then the farther hydrophone 6B. For the purpose, the Rayleigh wave detection time difference between the hydrophones 6A and 6B is measured to calculate the Rayleigh wave speed, and consequently the soil structure, obstacle, cavity, etc., of the front ground are investigated.

Underground surveying method for shield method

The invention relates to an earth pressure system shield process. First of all, an excavation additive consisting of the mixture of an agent for improving fluidity and viscosity of an excavated soil and a mud improving main agent is added (Ic, P2) to the excavated soil at the time of shield excavation at the working face, inside a mixing chamber (1b) of a shield machine (1) and inside a soil discharge screw conveyor (3) to sufficiently mix the excavated soil with the improving main agent and a mud improving assistant agent is then added (5) inside the soil discharge screw conveyor (3), so that the seal covered by the improving main agent so as not to be disssolved in water is removed chemically by this assistant agent. In this manner, the excavated soil is improved to a high quality soil having low fluidity inside the soil discharge screw conveyor (3) and is discharged. As described above, the improving main agent and the improving assistant agent are mixed continuously, and at the same time a cut-off plug zone is formed inside a mixing screw conveyor (33), and a cylinder portion (15) not having a soil and gravel conveyor means is disposed at the rear end of the conveying screw conveyor (32) so as to form the cut-off plug, to prevent explosion of the discharged soil, to prevent collapse of the working face and to make the soil discharge work easy.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine capable of drilling an underground hole having a rectangular section, and a boring device capable of minimizing bad effects on a tunnel shielding material with a relatively small required space within a tunnel. SOLUTION: The boring device 20 forms a circular underground beam 12 in a natural ground 11 by propelling a rectangular sectional circular short pipe including a thrust transmission pipe provided with the boring machine at the tip from a start mouth 94 opened in a wall surface 10 located near the bottom of a tunnel T. A start frame 30 disposed in a position facing the start mouth 94 within the tunnel T includes a base pushing jack 22 for propelling the thrust transmission pipe from the start mouth 94 toward the natural ground 11, a guide rail and a guide roller for propelling the thrust transmission pipe toward the natural ground 11 along a preset curvature radius, and a retaining means for retaining the circular short pipe in a fixed attitude relative to the thrust transmission pipe. Boring machine and boring device using the same

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discharge earth and sand while the facing collapsing earth pressure in a pressure chamber is secured by providing a resistant member in a plug zone in a casing for discharging earth and sand and controlling the projecting amount of the resistant member in accordance with the properties of dug earth and sand. SOLUTION: The earth and sand excavated by the cutter head 3 of a shield machine are discharged from a pressure chamber 5 on a screw conveyor in a cylindrical casing 7. A plug zone 9A is provided by bending the middle section of the casing 7 and another plug zone 9B is also provided between a downstream-side screw 8B and an opening/closing gate 10. The frictional resistance of the earth and sand is reduced by protruding resistance plates into the zones 9A and 9B from long holes formed through the top and bottom of the casing 7. Therefore, the earth pressure in the pressure chamber 5 can be secured.

Earth discharging device for shield machine

PURPOSE:To prevent matters to be dried from being deposited on a specific point by fixing an inner heating cylindrical part disposed about an axis to an outer heating casing part so that only a ribbon-shaped screw is rotated. CONSTITUTION:By the construction wherein the position of an outer heating casing part 4 and the position of an inner heating cylindrical part 5 also are fixed and only a ribbon-shaped screw 7 can be rotated, even if matters to be dried (a) are deposited on the part 5 and part 4, the deposited matters (a) are separated from the part 5 or the part 4 by the screw 7 so that the separated matters are sent toward a discharge port 3, while they are heated and dried. And while the matters are sent to the port 3, the matters (a) are crushed and mixed by a plurality of claws 7b provided on the screw 7. As a result, the matters (a) are prevented from being deposited on the part 5 or the part 4 so that heating and drying can be effected efficiently.

Screw type drier

PURPOSE: To surely compress an object to be dehydrated by retaining the tip end of a ribbon type screw freely rotatably on an outer cylinder through an annular member and thereby preventing the elastic deformation of the tip end side of the ribbon type screw. CONSTITUTION: A ribbon type screw 7 for driving a driving motor 25 is rotated around the shaft center while being retained by a retaining device 30 at the tip end of the screw, and an object 11 to be dehydrated is thrown in from a feeding port 12 provided in an outer cylinder 5 to an annular space 10 between the outer cylinder 5 and an inner cylinder 4. The object 11 so thrown in is moved toward a discharge port 15 through the rotation of the ribbon type screw 7, compressed and dehydrated in a compression dehydrating zone A, with the water discharged from the discharging screen 6, 13 of the inner 4 and the outer cylinder 5, and with the dehydrated object 11 discharged from the discharge port 15. At this time, the tip end of the ribbon type screw is retained by an annular member 33 supported with a bearing 31 attached to the outer circumference of the outer cylinder 5; consequently, the ribbon type screw 7 is prevented from contracting to the base end side, enabling the compression to be surely performed for the object 11 to be dehydrated.

Screw type dehydrator

PURPOSE:To improve the extent of conveying capacity by setting up one side of a symmetrical pair of two-set chains at the inside in a horizontal traveling part in leaving a space lengthwise in a lifting part, respectively, and installing a box supporting rod over each set-chain at the same space as the longitudinal space of chains, in the above captioned high lift conveyor for a human being or the like. CONSTITUTION:A first upper horizontal route 4A, a first vertical route 5A and a first lower horizontal route 6A are formed by a symmetrical pair of endless two-set chains 21A, 21B, and a box 3 is conveyed from an upper stage to a down stage. Likewise, a route from the down stage to the upper stage is also formed. Then, at both these upper and lower horizontal parts 4A, 6A, the chain 21B is set up in an inner part of the chain 21A, and at the vertical part 5A, the chain 21B is set up in a rear part of the chain 21A at a specified interval l. Rods 24A, 24B supporting a longitudinal lower end of the box 3 are installed in space between these chains 21A and 21B at an equi-interval with the longitudinal interval l of a vertical part 5.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling device for excavated sediment, for grasping the property of excavated sediment accurately as much as possible. SOLUTION: This sampling device 7 for excavated sediment is used in an earth pressure type shield excavator including a pressure chamber 5 formed between a cutter head rotatably supported on the partition wall 3 of a shield body and the partition wall and a screw type earth removal device for discharging excavated sediment taken in the pressure chamber. The device is composed of: a cylindrical sediment taking casing 23 connected to the partition wall 3 through an inlet side opening and closing valve 22; a sediment taking screw blade 24 disposed rotatably inside the casing; a rotating handle 25 for rotating the screw blade; and an outlet side opening and closing valve 26 provided at a sediment taking port 23a formed on the casing.
