It further relates to microcapsules comprising a shell and a core, which contains a pesticide and 2-heptanone; to a method for preparing said microcapsules; to an aqueous composition comprising said microcapsules; and to a method for controlling phytopathogenic fungi and/or undesired plant growth and/or undesired attack by insects or mites and/or for regulating the growth of plants, with said microcapsules.

SOLUTION: The proliferation inhibitor against microbes is micro-capsulated with a membrane formed by reacting a polyisocyanate component having an amine equivalent of 140-300 with an active hydrogen group-containing component.

CONSTITUTION:This agrochemical composition is obtained by using a polyurethane or a polyurea resin containing an isocyanulate structure as the membrane of a microcapsule, in a process of microencapsulating an active ingredient for the prevention of harmful organisms or for the modulation of plant growth. The polyurethane or the polyurea resin containing the isocyanulate structure is obtained by reacting e.g., isocyanate structure of formula I [R to R are each (CH2)n-NCO ((n) is 2-12)] or a multivalent isocyanate represented by formula II with a polyhydric alcohol, a multivalent amine or water. As the agrochemical active ingredient,e.g. 2-sec-butylphenyl N-methylcarbamate, etc., are cited.

SOLUTION: This pest controlling agent composition comprises one or more solvents selected from the group consisting of indane substituted by a lower alkyl group, naphthalene and phenylxylylethane substituted by the lower alkyl group together with an organophosphorus-based compound enclosed in a microcapsule in the pest controlling agent composition prepared by microencapsulating the organophosphorus-based compound having >=15 deg.C melting point (e.g. chloropyrifos).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition hardly causing the discoloration of a treated place even when used in the open air by encapsulating an organophosphorus-based compound such as chloropyrifos in a microcapsule under specific conditions. SOLUTION: This microencapsulated pest controlling agent composition is obtained by using a substance, having =15 deg.C melting point. An interfacial polymerization method is preferred as a method for microencapsulation due to a wide selective range of the membranous substance when producing a pest controlling agent composition.
