X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy of rare-earth compounds
TL;DR: In this article, a variety of rare-earth (RE) compounds (oxides, sulfates and oxalates) have been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-Ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy of Rare Earth Halides
TL;DR: In this article, the binding energies of rare earth (RE) halides (fluorides, chlorides, bromides, and iodides) have been studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Atomic emission spectrometry of solid samples with laser vaporization-microwave induced plasma system
TL;DR: In this article, a laser vaporization-microwave induced plasma system was used for the determination of various elements in solid samples such as brass, steel, and aluminum alloy.

Laser-vaporized atomic absorption spectrometry of solid samples
Journal ArticleDOI
Charge correction by gold deposition onto non-conducting samples in X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of depositions of gold layers up to ∼60 A thick was performed on each sample surface, and it was shown that the thickness of gold deposited influences the apparent binding energies, the precision of the charge-corrected binding energies and the FWHM's of the Au 4f, C 1s and F 1s peaks.
