The front side frames (16) have bend portions (29) in the rear portion thereof, said bend portions (29) sloping downwards along a dashboard lower panel (21) as the front side frames (16) extend towards the back of the vehicle body. Side sill-side extensions (45) curve to the side of side sills (23) from the end parts (29a) of the bend portions (29). Curving tunnel-side extensions (46) curve towards a tunnel portion (24). The side sill-side extensions (45) and the tunnel-side extensions (46) form branched portions (48) branching at substantially the same angle. Triangular load support portions (49) are formed at the back of the branched portions (48) between the side sill-side extensions (45) and the tunnel-side extensions (46). Rear end support portions (59) for supporting the rear ends (18b) of sub frames (18) are provided to the bend portions (29) and the fronts of the load support portions (49).

A vehicle body frame structure includes a side frame, a sub-frame, a cabin side support member, an under-floor frame, and a link stay. The sub-frame includes a separate side fastening portion, an adjacent side fastening portion, and a central bending point. In the link stay, a first end portion side is fastened to a lower surface of the cabin side support member together with the adjacent side fastening portion so as to be extractable, and a second end portion side is fastened to the under-floor frame. A nut for fastening the second end portion side of the link stay is held by a lateral wall on a side separating from the floor tunnel portion of the link stay, and the support bolt is fitted into the nut from a lower side of a floor tunnel portion in a vehicle width direction serving as an axis.

Vehicle body front structure

A sub-frame structure includes right and left side members extending in a vehicle front-rear direction, and a rear cross member extending in a vehicle width direction. The sub-frame structure is configured to support a vehicle power plant such as an engine through antivibration devices, and to be supported by a vehicle body frame. The right and left side members are rigidly fixed to a vehicle body frame through bolts. A first antivibration device is mounted on a front cross beam. First bushes and second bushes are provided in order to support the front cross beam in a floating manner relative to the right and left side members.

Sub-frame structure

A structure for the front portion of a vehicle body includes both an under load path member and a front load transmission member. The under load path member is extended toward the rear of the vehicle body from a lower bulk member to a sub-frame. The front load transmission member is provided at a position closer to the front of the vehicle body than the under load path member and closer to the rear of the vehicle body than the front end of the bottom of the lower bulk member, and transmits to the under load path member a load which is inputted from in front of the vehicle body. A gap is formed between the front load transmission member and the under load path member.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a bonding strength of connections between a dashboard lower panel and an inner pillar of a front pillar, even though using a thin plate for the dashboard lower panel with a wide area.SOLUTION: A front vehicle body of the vehicle includes: the dashboard lower panel 16 that partitions the front and the rear of a vehicle body 11; the inner pillar 22 of the front pillar 21 installed outside the vehicle width of the dashboard lower panel 16; an indoor side reinforcing member 26 that partially reinforces the dashboard lower panel 16 from backward of the vehicle body; and a damper base stiffener 27 that unites with the indoor side reinforcing member 26. The inner pillar 22, the indoor side reinforcing member 26, and the damper base stiffener 27 are formed with the steel plate whose board thickness is thicker than the dashboard lower panel 16, and an extension 55 that extends from a connection 42 with the dashboard lower panel 16 forward is installed in the inner pillar 22, and the extension 55 is united with the damper base stiffener 27.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body front structure capable of suppressing an obstacle such as a wall and an object such as an engine from moving close to a cabin in a head-on collision and securing a long distance until contacting with the cabin.SOLUTION: The vehicle body front structure includes front side members arranged at both sides in a vehicle front part and extending in the vehicle front/rear direction, a sub-frame 30 disposed below the front side members and attached to a vehicle body by a plurality of attaching parts 33, 34 arranged at both ends thereof in the vehicle width direction, lower arms 60 attached between the sub-frame 30 and wheels, and deformation parts 50 with one-side ends fixed to the sub-frame 30, with the other ends extending toward vehicle front from the sub-frame 30, and deformed by an input in the vehicle front/rear direction. Also, the deformation parts 50 are arranged in the sub-frame 30 so that the lower arms 60 are positioned on the extension line of an axis L connecting centers at both ends of the deformation parts 50 with each other.
