Journal ArticleDOI
Spectrophotometric determination of microgram amounts of aromatic aldoximes with chloranil
TL;DR: In this paper, the p-hydroxy, methyl, chloro and nitro derivatives of benzaldoxime were determined by using chloranil as a π-acceptor at pH 9.
Journal ArticleDOI
Indirect spectrophotometric determination of chromium(VI)
TL;DR: A simple and very fast photometric method for the determination of trace levels of cerium(IV) has been developed in this paper, which has a wide range of determination and reasonable sensitivity and it avoids both temperature control and the tedious extraction step.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diazotised 4-nitroaniline as a chromogenic reagent for the determination of trace amounts of pyrrole in aqueous solution
TL;DR: In this article, a sensitive spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of pyrrole in aqueous solution is described, based on the reaction of Pyrrole with diazotised 4-nitroaniline to produce an intense yellow, water-soluble, stable monoazo dye, which shows maximum absorption at 420 nm.
Journal ArticleDOI
Reagent for the spectrophotometric determination of iron (II) in alkaline solution
Journal ArticleDOI
Diazotised sulphanilic acid as a spectrophotometric reagent for the determination of trace amounts of indole in aqueous solution
TL;DR: In this article, a spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace amounts of indole in aqueous solution is described, based on the coupling reaction of the determinand with diazotised sulphanilic acid to form, in an acidic medium, an intense yellow, water-soluble, stable azo dye, which shows maximum absorption at 445 nm.
