Magnetic phase transitions in optical spectrum of magnetic semiconductor CuO
Yu. P. Sukhorukov,N. N. Loshkareva,A. A. Samokhvalov,S. V. Naumov,A. S. Moskvin,A. S. Ovchinnikov +5 more
TL;DR: The absorption coefficient in the region of a wide charge transfer band (319 eV) in CuO exhibits anomalously large, up to 8%, changes near two magnetic phase transition temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI
Specific features of the electronic structure and optical spectra of nanoparticles with strong electron correlations
Sergey Ovchinnikov,B. A. Gizhevskiĭ,Yu. P. Sukhorukov,A. E. Ermakov,M. A. Uĭmin,E. A. Kozlov,Ya. A. Kotov,A. V. Bagazeev +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a generalized tight-binding method was used to describe the electronic structure of superconducting cuprates and the appearance of unusual states inside the band gap of CuO nanoparticles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anomalies in the optical properties of nanocrystalline copper oxides CuO and Cu2O near the fundamental absorption edge
B. A. Gizhevskiĭ,Yu. P. Sukhorukov,A. S. Moskvin,N. N. Loshkareva,Elena V. Mostovshchikova,A. E. Ermakov,E. A. Kozlov,M. A. Uĭmin,V. S. Gaviko +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a 0.1-eV displacement of the fundamental absorption edge in the optical absorption spectra of nanocrystalline oxide n-CuO towards lower energies (red shift) was observed against the background of strong blurring.
