Routing protocols is one of the key technologies in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). More and more studies focus on the connectivity and secure communication between nodes in WSN. In this paper, according to the network structure in WSN, we classify the routing protocols into three categories, namely Data-centric protocol, Geographic routing protocol and Hierarchical routing protocol. An overview of routing protocols on WSN is presented in this paper. Then, we discuss the design challenges of routing protocol and research in the future in WSN from the perspective of advantages and disadvantages among each routing protocols.

An overview of routing protocols on Wireless Sensor Network

Existing security authentication schemes are mostly concentrated on the key management and cryptographic algorithms. However, there are few authentication schemes designed according to the application needs. To solve this problem, considering the limited resource of wireless sensor networks and the practical application, a partially distributed authentication scheme is proposed. We use hierarchical network structure. Centralized authentication is used between the base station and cluster head nodes, while cluster head node and ordinary nodes use a distributed authentication. Analysis shows that this method has some advantages in the overhead of the storage, computing and communication, while network security can be guaranteed.

Security Authentication Scheme Research for Wireless Sensor Networks

In order to solve the vehicle routing problem of material distribution and personnel transportation in military equipment maintenance under various realistic constraints, this study established a mathematical model with the shortest average maintenance completion time as the objective and designed two models under the condition of considering the importance of maintenance demand point, maintenance completion time limit and load capacity limit. A two-layer nested genetic algorithm is designed to solve the above problem. Simulation results show that the algorithm has good iterative performance and time consumption performance, and the results are accurate and reliable, which can provide reliable auxiliary decision support.
