Resource Allocation for Underlay D2D Communication With Proportional Fairness

TL;DR: Numerical results confirm that the proposed joint power control and resource scheduling scheme not only dramatically improves the system throughput, but also boosts the system fairness while guaranteeing the Quality-of-Service levels of all D2D users and cellular users.
Journal ArticleDOI

Joint Power Control and Resource Allocation Mode Selection for Safety-Related V2X Communication

TL;DR: A novel approach of joint power control and resource allocation mode selection to solve the resource allocation problem of the mixed centralized/distributed V2X communication system under different network load conditions is proposed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Proportional Fairness-Based User Pairing and Power Allocation Algorithm for Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access System

TL;DR: A prediction-based particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed to solve the stochastic programming problem aiming at enhancing proportional fairness in users with the outage rate constraint and derives the closed form expression of outage rate and average data rate for each possible user pairs according to HPPP.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resource Allocation for D2D-Based V2X Communication With Imperfect CSI

TL;DR: An approximate closed-form expression of VUE’s ergodic capacity is derived based on Jensen's inequality and an enhanced Gale–Shapley algorithm is proposed to solve the spectrum resource allocation problem, which is tailored to the scenario where each VUE can reuse spectrum resources of multiple CUEs but the resource of each CUE can be shared with one VUE at most.

Optimal KNN Positioning Algorithm via Theoretical Accuracy Criterion in WLAN Indoor Environment

TL;DR: This paper proposes the optimal K nearest neighbors (KNN) positioning algorithm via theoretical accuracy criterion (TAC) in wireless LAN (WLAN) indoor environment and shows the relationship among theoretical expectation accuracy, unit interval of neighboring RPs and dimensions of target location region.
