Research Note: Probiotic, Bacillus subtilis, alleviates neuroinflammation in the hippocampus via the gut microbiota-brain axis in heat-stressed chickens

TL;DR: In this article , a probiotic, Bacillus subtilis, was used to reduce neuroinflammation in heat-stressed broiler chickens, and the results indicated that dietary supplementation of the Bacillus subilis-based probiotic may reduce brain inflammatory reactions in broilers via the gut-brain-immune axis.
