An organic light-emitting display includes a first substrate which includes a pixel region, and an encapsulation region which surrounds the pixel region, an organic light-emitting device which is located in the pixel region, a sealant which is located in the encapsulation region, and a dummy metal which is interposed between the first substrate and the sealant, where the encapsulation region includes a first encapsulation region and a second encapsulation region which is adjacent to the first encapsulation region, and the dummy metal is located in the first encapsulation region.

Organic light emitting display

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display is disclosed. In one aspect, the display includes a stretchable substrate, a thin film transistor (TFT) formed over the stretchable substrate and including a plurality of electrodes, an OLED electrically connected to the TFT and including a plurality of electrodes, and a plurality of interconnection lines connected to the electrodes of the OLED and the TFT. At least one of the interconnection lines is configured to move in a stretching direction and rotate an electrode selected from the electrodes of the OLED and the TFT connected to the at least one interconnection line.

Organic light-emitting diode display

The present invention provides OLEDs of the top emission type comprising organic light-emitting (LE) elements by preventing the problems such as the widening of the power lines, the reduction in the aperture ratio caused by the widening of the upper and the lower capacitor electrodes and the short circuit between the upper and the lower electrodes caused by the roughness of the flattening layers. Two kinds of the OLEDs are provided. One is an OLED comprising a region of LE layer sandwiched between the upper and lower electrodes is formed on a power line of TFT for driving the pixel. Another comprises a region of the LE layer formed on an electrode of capacitor connected to the TFTs to control the light-emitting element. Accordingly, without forming a flattening layer on the light-emitting layer, there is no electric short circuit between the lower electrode and the upper electrode.

Organic Light Emitting Display Device

By doping an organic compound functioning as an electron donor (hereinafter referred to as donor molecules) into an organic compound layer contacting a cathode, donor levels can be formed between respective LUMO (lowest unoccupied molecular orbital) levels between the cathode and the organic compound layer, and therefore electrons can be injected from the cathode, and transmission of the injected electrons can be performed with good efficiency. Further, there are no problems such as excessive energy loss, deterioration of the organic compound layer itself, and the like accompanying electron movement, and therefore an increase in the electron injecting characteristics and a decrease in the driver voltage can both be achieved without depending on the work function of the cathode material.

Light Emitting Device

A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel comprises a central region and peripheral regions. The peripheral regions are provided at two opposite ends of the display panel and have a first curvature; the central region is provided between the two opposite ends of the display panel and has a second curvature; and the second curvature of the central region is smaller than the first curvature of the peripheral regions.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a so-called horizontal shadow generating in a display device having pixels containing even-numbered subpixels. SOLUTION: A scan signal line drive circuit 12 and a data signal line drive circuit 13 drive a pixel array 14 by dot inversion driving. A-type pixels having four sub-pixels arranged in a sequence of white subpixel, red subpixel, green subpixel and blue subpixel, and B-type pixels having four subpixels arranged in a sequence of red subpixel, white subpixel, blue subpixel and green subpixel are alternately arranged in each row of the pixel array 14. Upon performing monochromatic display, a positive voltage and a negative voltage are equally imparted to the same kinds of subpixels in one row, which prevents generation of a horizontal shadow. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a display device that renders a portion suffering from a vertical leakage caused by deposition of a conductive foreign substance into a minute defect which is hardly recognized as a defect, that maintains high display quality and increases the yield, and that can cope with defect modes such as a D-Cs leakage and an electrical short-circuiting between a signal line and a capacitance electrode formed on an auxiliary capacitor wiring. SOLUTION: The substrate for a display device comprises an active matrix substrate and an opposed substrate opposing to each other with a display medium layer interposed therebetween, the active matrix substrate including a pixel electrode 9 arranged in a matrix on the side of the display medium layer, and the opposed substrate including a common electrode opposing to the pixel electrode 9 on the side of the display medium layer. The substrate for a display device includes an electrode slit 11 formed in one of the pixel electrode 9 and the common electrode, and at least one of electrical connecting portions 13 of the electrode slit is provided outside a light blocking region.
