An Accurate Detection for Dynamic Liquid Level Based on MIMO Ultrasonic Transducer Array

TL;DR: A simulation method of ultrasonic echo signal from liquid level based on the boundary-layer theory and the ultrasonic scattering theory is proposed, and it is indicated that the good performance of the proposed method remains, provided that the focus in beamforming is properly set in every scanning direction and the noise of echo signal is effectively controlled.

Accurate TOF measurement of ultrasonic signal echo from the liquid level based on a 2-D image processing method

TL;DR: A modified TOF measurement method based on the existing ellipse algorithm, where the Canny operator for edge detection in 2-D image processing is used, which can obtain a more accurate TOF with approximately 30% error reduction.
