Journal ArticleDOI

Biogenic Silver Nanoparticles: Synthesis and Application as Antibacterial and Antifungal Agents

TL;DR: In this article, a review of the current approaches to the preparation of biogenic silver nanoparticles, using plant extracts and filtrates of fungi and microorganisms, is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Kaolin alleviates the toxicity of graphene oxide for mammalian cells

TL;DR: It is shown that the joint application of graphene oxide and kaolin reduced the negative effects of graphene by almost 20%, most likely because of coagulation of the nanoparticles with each other, which was detected by atomic force microscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Silver nanoparticle synthesis using ultrasound and halloysite to create a nanocomposite with antibacterial properties

TL;DR: In this paper, a new nanocomposite using halloysite nanotubes and ultrasound transmission electron microscopy revealed the presence of the silver nanoparticles on the inner and outer surface of the nanotube and sample mapping showed a uniform distribution of the nanoparticles in the nanocomposition.
