Rapid identification of traditional Chinese herbal medicine by direct analysis in real time (DART) mass spectrometry

TL;DR: DART-MS was employed as a novel fast method to identify traditional Chinese herbal medicine (TCHM) and five of eight tested Chinese herbal medicines, Rhizoma Corydalis, Bulbus Fritillariae Thunbergii, Arecae Semen, Ramulus Uncariae Cum Uncis and Scutellariae Radix, were first time identified by DART- MS.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of oligosaccharides from Panax ginseng by using solid-phase permethylation method combined with ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography-Q-Orbitrap/mass spectrometry.

TL;DR: A solid-phase methylation method combined with liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry was successfully applied to analyze the oligosaccharides in ginseng extracts, which provides the possibility for holistic evaluation of ginsENG oligosACcharides.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical composition analysis of Schisandra chinensis fructus and its three processed products using UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap/MS-based metabolomics approach.

TL;DR: The results suggested the chemical composition variation occurs in different Schis Sandra products, and the marker compounds selected in this study will be useful for the quality evaluation of Schisandra products.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical Comparison of White Ginseng before and after Extrusion by UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS/MS and Multivariate Statistical Analysis

TL;DR: Experimental results indicate that the UHPLC-Q-Orbitrap-MS/MS is a useful tool to characterize variations of ginsenosides in WG and EWG.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectrum–effect relationship between ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography fingerprints and antioxidant activities of Lophatherum gracile Brongn

TL;DR: In this paper , a method combining chromatographic fingerprints and antioxidant activity was proposed to better understand Lophatherum gracile Brongn's characteristics and efficacy, a total of 21 common peaks were confirmed from liquid chromatography fingerprints and were identified as 14 flavonoids and 7 phenolic acids by UHPLC coupled with quadrupole Orbitrap mass spectrometry.
