Journal ArticleDOI

Estimation of the Hydromotive Source Pressure from Ejecting Beats of the Left Ventricle

TL;DR: The proposed technique can be used to estimate Pmax from a single ejecting beat by fitting the equation to the isovolumic portions of the pressure curve of ejecting contractions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Myocardial blood flow following experimental coronary occlusion. Effects of diltiazem.

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of diltiazem, a new calcium antagonist, on myocardial ischemia were evaluated in open-chest dogs with acute coronary occlusion.
Journal ArticleDOI

Iatrogenic arteriovenous fistula of the internal mammary artery. Transcatheter intravascular coil occlusion.

TL;DR: There was no evidence of thromboembolism of the distal artery, and good patency of the right subclavian artery was shown by an angiogram performed six months later, and the patient has been receiving heparin therapy during hemodialysis, which should help prevent thrombosis of thedistal artery.
Journal ArticleDOI

Real-time measurement of the spatial magnitude of the St segment with the automated vectorcardiographic ST segment analyzer

TL;DR: An automated vectorcardiograph was applied to experimental coronary artery occlusion in dogs, and continuous real-time measurements of ST segment deviation were undertaken, and the spatial changes of the ST segment after the occlusions of the coronary arteries in the experimental animals were quite compatible with the site of the Occlusion.

Myocardial Blood Flow following

TL;DR: To determine the effects of diltiazem, a new calcium antagonist, on myocardial ischemia, two experiments are carried out.
