Extraction and preliminary purification of anthocyanins from grape juice in aqueous two-phase system

TL;DR: Aqueous two-phase extraction (ATPE) was employed for the extraction and preliminary purification of anthocyanins in grape juice (GA) as discussed by the authors, and the results of multistage and scale-up extractions showed that it could remain over 90% GA in the top phase and remove more than 90% sugars after continuous extraction for two times.

TL;DR: In this article, the results indicate that it is better to use the simultaneous aqueous two-phase extraction and saponification reaction method than other method, and the effects of different parameters on the amount of sodium chlorophyllin in the top system of the ethanol-NaOH aqueously twophase system (ATPS) were studied, including salt concentration, saponiification temperature and time.
