Journal ArticleDOI
Aberrant intrinsic brain activity and cognitive deficit in first-episode treatment-naive patients with schizophrenia
Z. He,Wei Deng,Min Li,Z. Chen,Lijun Jiang,Qiang Wang,Chaohua Huang,David A. Collier,Qiyong Gong,X. Ma,Nanyin Zhang,Tao Li +11 more
TL;DR: These associations between neurocognitive dysfunction and aberrant intrinsic activities, and also functional connectivity, of the DMN in patients with schizophrenia may provide important insights into the neural mechanism of the disease.
Journal ArticleDOI
Volume increases in putamen associated with positive symptom reduction in previously drug-naive schizophrenia after 6 weeks antipsychotic treatment.
Min Li,Z. Chen,Wei Deng,Z. He,Qiang Wang,Lijun Jiang,X. Ma,Y. Wang,Siew E. Chua,Ching-Lung Cheung,Grainne M. McAlonan,P. C. Sham,David A. Collier,Qiyong Gong,Tao Li +14 more
TL;DR: Putaminal volume increased after 6 weeks antipsychotic treatment in first-episode schizophrenia and was closely correlated with improved psychopathology, suggesting the putamen might be a biomarker to predict the treatment response in schizophrenia.
