Journal ArticleDOI
Selective reduction of nitrobenzene to nitrosobenzene over different kinds of trimanganese tetroxide catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, the Jahn-Teller effect was found to be related to the catalytic as well as the redox behavior of different Mn3O4 materials and their redox behaviour.
Journal ArticleDOI
Redox behavior of trimanganese tetroxide catalysts
TL;DR: In this paper, temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and temperatureprogrammed oxidation (TPO), combined with differential thermal analysis (DTA) and FT-IR spectroscopy, were used to characterize trimanganese tetroxide catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of soluble aluminium on the state and surface properties of platinum in a series of reduced platinum/alumina catalysts
TL;DR: X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis showed that the solubility of alumina in acid medium is related to its crystallinity and surface morphology.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of soluble aluminium on the thermal decomposition of praseodymium trinitrate/alumina and the study of the alumina support effect
TL;DR: In this paper, the TPR (temperature-programmed reduction) and TG-DTA (thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis) were used as the main techniques to study the behavior of various aluminas from different sources to see whether the amount of soluble Al3+ ions of alumina has anything to do with the stabilization of Pr3+ (to prevent Pr(NO3)3 from oxidating to Pr6O11).
Book ChapterDOI
The Role of Competitive Adsorbate in the Impregnation of Platinum in Pelleted Alumina Support
Wang Jianguo,Zhang Jiayu,Pang Li +2 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of competitive adsorbate on the adsorption equilibrium of H 2 PtCl 6 on η-Al 2 O 3 and the impregnation kinetics were studied.
