Advances in biomaterials for preventing tissue adhesion

To investigate the effect of Yagi Danshen Mixture (YRDSM) in preventing and treatingin testinal adhesion and study its effective mechanism. Methods: YRDSM was used to treat 30 patients with intestinal adhesion, The experiment' studied the effect of YRDSM on the aspect of occur rate, the degree of adhesion in rabbits, hematocrit and the content of fibinogan. Results: ZI cases among the 30 patients were cured, 4were remarkable effected, 3 were improved and 2 were ineffective. The effective rate is 93. 3 %,Results of experimental study indicated that YRDSM could increase the dissolution of fibrin and improve blood circulation by reducing blood viscosity and the content of fibrinogan. Coucluslous: YRDSM is valuable in preventillg and treating intestinal adhesion.
