The invention provides a spray tower and a method for processing VOCs by using the spray tower. The spray tower comprises a tower body, a packing layer, a defogging layer, a grating plate, a spray device, an air inlet and an air outlet, the defogging layer is located at the top of the tower, the packing layer is located in the tower body located below the defogging layer, the packing layer and thedefogging layer are correspondingly supported by the grating plate, the upper part of the packing layer is provided with the spray device, the air inlet is located in the tower body and below the packing layer, and the air outlet is located in the top of the defogging layer. The method comprises the steps that gas containing the VOCs is introduced into the spray tower through the air inlet, meanwhile an absorbent solution is sprayed to the packing layer by using the spray device, the gas penetrates through the packing layer, the absorption solution absorbs the VOCs and then is discharged, andafter removing the VOCs, the gas is discharged from the air outlet through the defogging layer. The provided method does not produce hazardous activated carbon waste, the cost is reduced, and the environment is protected.
