The molded body is molded from the resin composition by a melt extrusion method. The optical fiber is composed of a core part and a clad part disposed on the circumference of the core part, wherein at least one of the core part and the clad part contains a chlorine-containing polymer, and the other thereof contains a phosphoric acid-based compound. It is preferable that the chlorine-containing polymer is a polymer of a monomer containing ≥70 wt.% of trichloroethyl methacrylate to the whole monomer that constitutes the polymer; the phosphoric acid-based compound is triphenyl phosphate; and 0.1 to 20 wt.% of phosphoric acid-based compound is contained to the whole resin composition.
