Various density light field image coding based on distortion minimization interpolation
Shengyang Zhao,Zhibo Chen +1 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors proposed a view prediction framework to handle LF image coding with various sampling density, and they first partition the views into reference view (RV) set and intermediate view (IV) set, then the RVs are rearranged into a pseudo sequence and directly compressed by a video encoder.

Method and device for lossy compress-encoding image data
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed modification of quantized coefficients for signalling of a post-processing method for lossy compress-encoding data comprising at least one of image data and audio data.

View Invariant 3D Human Pose Estimation
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a view invariant 3D human pose estimation module to alleviate the effects of viewpoint diversity, which consists of a base network, which provides an initial estimation of a 3D pose, a view-invariant hierarchical correction network (VI-HC) on top of that to learn the 3D poses refinement under consistent views, and a viewinvariants discriminative network (VID) to enforce high-level constraints over body configurations.

Local Patch AutoAugment with Multi-Agent Collaboration
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors divide an image into a grid of patches and search for the joint optimal augmentation policies for the patches, and formulate it as a multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL) problem, where each agent learns an augmentation policy for each patch based on its content together with the semantics of the whole image.

Method of processing an image and corresponding device
TL;DR: In this article, a method for processing an image divided into blocks of pixels is described, which consists of detecting, for each block, a largest sub-block whose pixels have an equal luminance value.
