Effects of specimen aspect ratio on the compressive properties of Mg alloy foam

TL;DR: In this article, the effects of specimen aspect ratio (the thickness/width ratio, AR) on the compressive properties of closed-cell Mg alloy foams were investigated systematically and the results showed that the length of stress strain plateau stage extended and ideality energy absorption efficiency improved with the specimen AR increasing and the yield strength decreased.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nucleation and growth of nanoscale precipitates and the effect on properties during secondary isothermal aging in thin-band of Cu-0.8Cr-0.1Zr alloy

TL;DR: In this article , the precipitation behavior during secondary isothermal aging of Cu 0.8Cr −0.1Zr alloy, especially the nucleation and growth of nanoscale body-centered cubic (bcc) Cr and orthogonal Cu4Zr precipitates, was clarified through high-resolution crystal structure and atomic-scale composition analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of pre-strain on microstructure and stamping ability of TA2 titanium alloy and H260 low-alloy steel

TL;DR: In this paper , a pre-strain ranging from 0 to 0.16 was applied to H260 low-alloy steel and TA2 titanium alloy as experimental materials, and microstructure observation, tensile test, bending test, and cup bulging test were conducted on the prestrained samples.
