TL;DR: In this article, a robust fault detection filter is designed for a 3MW wind turbine system, where the parameter eigenvalue assignment approaches and evolutionary optimal algorithms are integrated to seek optimal observer gain such that the residual signal is sensitive to the fault, but robustness against the disturbances.
Abstract: In this paper, a robust fault detection filter is designed for a 3MW wind turbine system. The parameter eigenvalue assignment approaches and evolutionary optimal algorithms are integrated to seek optimal observer gain such that the residual signal is sensitive to the fault, but robustness against the disturbances. From all the simulations, the performance of fault detections is satisfactory.

TL;DR: Based on the reduced-order model, a fault detection filter is designed to detect actuator faults and sensor faults for the system subjected to input and output noises in this paper, where the genetic optimization algorithm is used to design the filter gains such that the residual signal is sensitive to the faults and robust to process and sensor noises.
Abstract: In this paper, an aero gas turbine engine with three shafts are investigated. By employing data-driven method, a reduced-order model is obtained, which has the close output performance as the 14th-order full-order model. Based on the reduced-order model, a fault detection filter is designed to detect actuator faults and sensor faults for the system subjected to input and output noises. Genetic optimization algorithm is used to design the filter gains such that the residual signal is sensitive to the faults, but robust to process and sensor noises. Simulated results demonstrate the efficiency of the present algorithm.

TL;DR: In terms of the concepts of gene force and gene community network, a novel multi-layer filter is proposed to screen the core genes, composed of iron-related gene HAMP, metal-related metallothionein genes, and tumor proliferation-related GPC3 gene, to form and development mechanism of the HCC.
Abstract: In terms of the concepts of gene force and gene community network, a novel multi-layer filter is proposed to screen the core genes. Applying the present algorithm to liver cancer microarray data with 3964 genes, the three core genes, composed of iron-related gene HAMP, metal-related metallothionein genes, and tumor proliferation-related GPC3 gene are screened. Based on these core genes, the formation and development mechanism of the HCC and the relationship between the HCC and trace metals, such as copper, iron and zinc, are analyzed and revealed.
