A Hybrid Approach to Cutting Tool Remaining Useful Life Prediction Based on the Wiener Process
TL;DR: A hybrid cutting tool remaining useful life prediction approach is proposed by combining a data-driven model and a physics-based model that can be predicted more accurately during the machining process.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental and numerical investigation of the progressive collapse of precast reinforced concrete frame substructures with wet connections
TL;DR: In this article , a static progressive collapse test was conducted on one conventional reinforced concrete beam-column substructure (RC) and four precast reinforced concrete beaconic substructures with wet connections (PCWC).
Journal ArticleDOI
An approach to in-process surface texture condition monitoring
TL;DR: An in-process surface texture condition monitoring approach is proposed based on the grey-level co-occurrence matrices, some surface texture image features are extracted to describe the texture characteristics and some sensitive features are also extracted from the vibration signal.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental and numerical investigation of dynamic progressive collapse of reinforced concrete beam-column assemblies under a middle-column removal scenario
TL;DR: In this paper , a new assessment procedure was proposed based on the energy-method and was proved to be efficient and accurate by comparing with the experimental and numerical results, which indicated that the dynamic collapse behaviors of the assemblies were influenced by two key factors, i.e., the dynamic stress distribution characteristics and the material strain rate effect.
Journal ArticleDOI
How Plot Spatial Morphology Drives Surface Thermal Environment: A Spatial and Temporal Analysis of Nanjing Main City
TL;DR: Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper analyzed how plot spatial form influences urban thermal environment in the main Nanjing area from 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016, and 2021, based on geographically weighted regression models (spatio-temporal-and multi-scale).
