Abstract: Summary A case of erythema nodosum with a sarcoid reaction is described. The literature is reviewed in regard to this particular group of the sarcoid syndrome. It is agreed that the most important features in the diagnosis of sarcoidosis are the radiological changes in the lungs and mediastinal glands, the histology, and the clinical condition of the patient. It would appear that erythema nodosum in association with a sarcoid reaction carries a very good prognosis.
