Abstract: No one has yet been able adequately to express, define, enunciate, or describe exactly what is a beautiful ear. Beauty is a personal, emotional reaction, but it should be considered a twofold quality. The first is beauty of shape, with all the subsidiary trimmings. It is physical beauty. It feathers through to the second, which is beauty as an ideal, sublimely confused with the divine.
