Abstract: IT is well known that there is no increase in the number of adipose cells in many kinds of experimental obesity In genetically obese mice, obob obese hyperglycaemic1,2 or yellow obese3 syndromes as well as in hypothalamic obesities produced by aurothioglucose in mice4 or stereotaxic lesions in rats5, there is only an enlargement of the adipose cells The same results are obtained in rats made obese by a high fat diet6 There is only one known exception to this rule: obesity induced by a high fat diet in female mice7, in which the number of cells is increased by a factor of 25 Because male animals were used in all experiments except the last, the question arises whether there may be a sex difference in the adipose tissue development in obese animals

Abstract: Jusqu’a maintenant, on fabriquait des transformateurs a lignes sans connaitre la theorie de leur fonctionnement. On tentait de l’expliquer en considerant deux zones, celle des basses frequences et celle des hautes frequences, sans trop savoir comment elles se raccordaient. En outre, jusqu’a maintenant, on savait expliquer le fonctionnement de deux lignes couplees, soit pour fabriquer des coupleurs directifs, soit pour etudier le parasitage d’une des lignes par l’autre. Les auteurs montrent comment il faut appliquer la theorie des lignes couplees au transformateur a lignes en considerant que l’enroulement primaire et l’enroulement secondaire sont deux lignes couplees en milieu magnetique.

Abstract: 2014 A treatment is given of low frequency instabilities in a weakly ionized cesium plasma from the fluid equations. In these relations, the inertia and the temperature of electrons and ions, the electric and magnetic fields are retained. The being of these instabilities and the variation of the frequency are predicted in function of plasma parameters. In absence of longitudinal electric field, the transverse instability exists only for well definite values of the magnetic field and the cesium vapor pressure.
