Abstract: The aradid bugs here reported were collected during the Yunnan expeditions 1955-1957. The collection contains 27 species distributed in 11 genera of two subfamilies. Two genera and 18 species are described as new and two genera and three species arerecorded for the first time in China (new records marked with an asterisk). The statusof the nominal species Mezira triangula Bergroth, M. membranacea F. and M. albipennisF. is discussed and illustrated. The new genera and species are characterized as in the following pages. Exceptthe allotype of Usingerida yunnana, all the holotypes and allotypes are deposited in theInstitute of Zoology, Academia Sinica.Aneurus yunnanensis, sp. nov. Abstract: The present study is intended to clarify some confusion existing in the literature ofeconomic entomology regarding the identity of some Chinese species of Cletus Stal. Ninespecies are dealt with and among them one is described as new to science. A brief ac-count is given to cach species and a synoptic key to all the species is appended. Thefollowing is the diagnosis of the new species. Cletus graminis, sp. nov. (Fig. 7) . Length 9.6 mm, width 2.8 mm, width between lateral angles of pronotum3.8 mm. Greyish yellow, punctation above brownish and beneath concolorous, apicalportion of corium reddish, basal 2/3 of costal margin pale; black spots on body beneathdistinct. Head broader than long; antennae reddish brown, 1st segment covered withdense pale granules, much longer than head, 4th segment darker, length of segments1.9: 2.2: 1.7: 1.5 mm. Rostrum passing middle of intermediate coxae. Pronotum withlateral margin archedly sinuate posteriorly, lateral angles upwardly and slightly forwardlyrecurved and shortly spinose. . Larger, length 10.3 mm, width 3.1 mm. Antennae shorter, length of segments1.8: 2.1: 1.6: 1.3 mm. Holotype , Kwangchou. Allied to C. punctiger Dallas, but smaller and narrower, lateral angles of pronotumthicker and shorter. It differs from C. pugnator F. by larger size, recurved lateral anglesof pronotum and longer 1st and 4th antennal segments.
