TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the correlation between ground motion parameters and energy demands of low-rise RC buildings without shear walls, and suggested new equations with combining multiple ground motion parameter combinations to reflect damage potential better than a single parameter.
Abstract: Abstract This study aims to evaluate the correlation between ground motion parameters and energy demands of low-rise RC buildings without shear walls. Two regular 4- and 7-storey residential buildings are seismically designed to represent low-rise RC buildings. In order to establish the demands of single degree of freedom (SDOF) systems as well as multi degree of freedom (MDOF) systems, the dynamic features of “equivalent” SDOF systems are defined by using MDOF systems. The correlation of 20 ground motion parameters (GMPs) of 44 records with the energy demands obtained from a total of 176 nonlinear time history analyses is investigated for SDOF and MDOF systems within the scope of the study. The ground motion parameters (GMPs) have been taken as intensity measures (IMs) while values of maximum input energy are used as demand measure (DM) and these energy values are normalized with the masses of the buildings for cases where the buildings are evaluated together. Parameters related to acceleration and velocity are generally found to have better consequences than ones related to frequency and displacement. Velocity Spectrum Intensity (VSI) and Arias Intensity (I a ) have been obtained to have the highest correlation values as a single parameter. This study suggested new equations with combining multiple ground motion parameters for SDOF and MDOF systems to reflect damage potential better than a single parameter. The usage of combined multiple parameters achieves an evident enrichment of the correlation coefficients.

TL;DR: In this paper , a manzume dışında aynı zamanda manzum çınnâme de yazmıştır.
Abstract: İnsanoğlu tarih boyunca gaybı ve gelecekte yaşanacak olayları hep merak etmiş, bu merak duygusu da onu her daim çeşitli arayışlara sevk etmiştir.

TL;DR: In this paper , chemical compounds of essential oil of D. botrys collected from Central Anatolia (Kayseri province) of Türkiye were investigated and thirty components were identified in the oil by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry.
Abstract: Dysphania botrys (L.) Mosyakin & Clemants, belonging to the Amaranthaceae family, is a plant species commonly found in Asian and Mediterranean regions. Furthermore, the herb has significant medical value (antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and so on). In the present study, chemical compounds of essential oil of D. botrys collected from Central Anatolia (Kayseri province) of Türkiye were investigated and thirty components were identified in the oil by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry (GC/MS). β-elemene (27.56%), elemol (18.00%), selina-3,7(11)-diene (6.74%), β-eudesmol (5.87%), α-eudesmol (4.48%), (-)-isolongifolol acetate (3.56%), and β-selinene (3.12%) were determined as the main components. The Kirby-Baurer disc diffusion technique was used to evaluate the oil's antibacterial effects against six distinct bacterial strains. The results showed that the most inhibitory effect was observed on S. aureus (13 mm) and this was followed by B. cereus (10 mm)> E. faecalis = P. aeruginosa (8 mm) > A. baumannii = Y. enterocolitica (7 mm). It was established that the oil significantly inhibited the growth of the tested bacterial strains. In vitro allelopathic effects of the oil at different doses (1.0-8.0 μl/ml) were researched on Lepidium sativum and Triticum aestivum. In both tested plants, the oil at 4.0 and 8.0 μl/ml doses significantly inhibited the germination, root, and shoot elongation and decreased total chlorophyll and carotenoid contents. This is also the first study on the phytotoxic activity of D. botrys’ essential oil.

TL;DR: In this paper , ground state properties of Ni2ZnAl alloy in L21 phase from Heusler family were optimized and the calculated elastic constants were found to meet the Born mechanical stability criteria, by using these constants, some mechanical and thermodynamic properties of the material such as elastic modulus, Vicker hardness, anisotropic nature, melting temperature were investigated in detail.
Abstract: In this study, ground state properties of Ni2ZnAl alloy in L21 phase from Heusler family were optimized. The calculated parameters are in harmony with the available literature data. Elastic constants were calculated using optimized parameters. The calculated elastic constants were found to meet the Born mechanical stability criteria. By using these constants, some mechanical and thermodynamic properties of the material such as elastic modulus, Vicker hardness, anisotropic nature, melting temperature were investigated in detail. Calculations showed that the Ni2ZnAl alloy is ductile, soft, and anisotropic. As such, it is a candidate material for applications that do not require hardness. The free energy, vibrational energy, entropy, and heat capacity of the Ni2ZnAl alloy were investigated using a semi- harmonic approach in the range of 0-800 K. All the total energy calculations were performed using the open-source Quantum Espresso software and ab-initio pseudopotential method based on the density functional theory (DFT) scheme within a generalized gradient approximation (GGA). According to the data obtained because of the study, Ni2ZnAl alloy is a potential candidate for industrial use.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used the electrospinning technique to make a coating that increases light transmission, reduces reflection, and has self-cleaning properties on laboratory slide glasses by the Electrospinning method.
Abstract: The electrospinning technique is a coating method with controllable parameters. This study aims to make a coating that increases light transmission, reduces reflection, and has self-cleaning properties on laboratory slide glasses by the electrospinning method. Studies in the literature were investigated that had used SiO2, TiO2, and polymers for it. PLA and PMMA were used as polymers, SiO2 and TiO2 were used as nanoparticles, and chloroform was used as the solvent. Solutions were prepared at different mixtures and ratios. The solutions were applied with different electrospinning parameters. The coatings were examined in terms of surface adhesion and surface distribution, and some were found to be successful. The light transmittance was the highest with 66.2% in solution-6 containing 1.6 g of PLA and 0.05 g of SiO2. In coatings containing SiO2 and TiO2, the light transmittance of solution-7 with 1.6 g of PLA, 0.025 g of SiO2, and 0.025 g of TiO2 was 64.8%, and solution-10 with 2 g of PLA and 0.05 g of SiO2, and 0.05 g of TiO2 had 64.4% light transmission.
