06 May 2015TL;DR: In this paper, a real-time biometric monitoring and alert generation system was described for realtime monitoring of a patient's biometric data and alerting a mobile device associated with the patient to a rule defined by a clinician.
Abstract: System and methods are described for real-time biometric monitoring and alert generation. A system may receive biometric data from a mobile device associated with a patient, and may identify a rule defined by a clinician. The system may generate alert data corresponding to a portion of the biometric data in response to determining that the portion of the biometric data satisfies the rule, and the alert data may be transmitted to a device associated with the clinician.
