TL;DR: The results indicate that ANR configures discovered and needed neighbor relations such that handover can be performed in combination with the neighbor relation establishment without dropping the connection.
Abstract: In recent years, there has been a strong focus on network management simplicity under the device self-organizing networks (SON). A number of SON use cases and features have been and are discussed for 3G Long Term Evolution (LTE). The main SON feature in the first LTE release is methods for automatic configuration of neighbor cell relations - Automatic Neighbor Relations (ANR). In this paper, we describe the neighbor relations management and ANR, and evaluate ANR in a pre-launch, commercially deployed network cluster. The results indicate that ANR configures discovered and needed neighbor relations such that handover can be performed in combination with the neighbor relation establishment without dropping the connection.

TL;DR: In this article, the UDP test packet comprises at least one header field in the packet payload for addressing the UDP packet and the first UDP responder (RESA) modifies UDP packet header field and forwards UDP packet to a second UDP responders (RESB) or returns the UDP packets to the probe (PR) based on the unmodified header field information.
Abstract: A probe (PR) and a UDP responder (RESA, RESB, RESC) for measuring service quality in a data network. The UDP test packet comprises at least one header field in the packet payload for addressing the UDP packet. The probe (PR) sends the UDP packet to the first UDP responder (RESA). The first UDP responder (RESA) modifies the UDP packet header field and forwards the UDP packet to a second UDP responder (RESB) or returns the UDP packet to the probe (PR) based on the unmodified header field information.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a call service in a communication system, where in response to recognizing a predetermined event related to a user terminal, it is checked whether the user terminal (UEA) is a roaming user terminal roaming in a visited packet switched network.
Abstract: The present solution relates to providing a call service in a communication system, where in response to recognizing a predetermined event related to a user terminal (UEA), it is checked ( 203, 204 ) whether the user terminal (UEA) is a roaming user terminal (UEA) roaming in a visited packet switched network. It is also checked ( 203, 204 ) whether the user terminal (UEA) is defined to use a home network routing function in the visited packet switched network. If the user terminal (UEA) is a roaming user terminal (UEA) roaming in the visited packet switched network and defined to use the home network routing function in the visited packet switched network, the home network routing function is over overridden by performing ( 209 ) a forced setup of the call service to a local circuit switched network.

TL;DR: The paper suggests the usage of a business oriented security requirement profiles containing information security, privacy, fraud/abuse, resilience and assurance requirements, and the creation process for such reusable and adaptable profiles.
Abstract: Security requirement engineering for services is in practice frequently performed by security non-experts. For them the security requirements and their dependencies are not directly known. To mitigate this, the paper suggests the usage of a business oriented security requirement profiles (e.g. VoIP, IP-TV...) containing information security, privacy, fraud/abuse, resilience and assurance requirements. The criteria and the creation process for such reusable and adaptable profiles are shown. Then the requirement profiles are set in context with a development process. We show how to stepwise adjust the profile to the actual service needs at development stages where the budget and knowledge are available. Finally, experiences from real projects are presented.

TL;DR: In this paper, a system and method that comprises at least two parallel apparatus racks and at least three cooling units was proposed to produce horizontal cooled airflows toward the outer sides of the apparatus rack.
Abstract: The invention relates to a system and method that comprises at least two parallel apparatus racks and at least two cooling units. The cooling units are configured to produce horizontal cooled airflows toward outer sides of the at least two apparatus rack. The cooling units comprise an upper side inlet for airflow to be cooled. The system and method achieve a more effective cooling of apparatus racks.

TL;DR: In this article, a rating object and a corresponding rating value from a user interface is selected, wherein the rating object is a graphical, interactive user interface object with which the user interacts in order to rate the second communication party.
Abstract: A method, an apparatus and a computer program product for rating a second communication party, wherein a first communication party comprises a communication apparatus. A start time of the communication session and the identification of the second communication party is stored, and an identification code of the communication session is formed. A rating object and a corresponding rating value from a user interface is selected, wherein the rating object is a graphical, interactive user interface object with which the user interacts in order to rate the second communication party. The rating information is sent to a rating computer, the rating information comprising the identification code and the rating value. After the call has ended, the first communication party rates the second communication party by pointing a graphical image or presentation of different rating values on the screen of a communication apparatus that the first communication party is using.

TL;DR: In this paper, a payment arrangement in an online shopping is described, in which a request for a transaction code containing at least predefined user-related identification information is received, and the content of the request is compared to stored information and, in response to a positive outcome of the comparison, a transactional code is generated, stored and delivered to the requesting party.
Abstract: The invention concerns a payment arrangement in an online shopping. In the method a request for a transaction code containing at least predefined user-related identification information is received. The content of the request is compared to stored information and, in response to a positive outcome of the comparison, a transaction code is generated, stored and delivered to the requesting party. In the next phase an inserted transaction code is received for verification and it is compared to the generated transaction code stored. In response to a positive outcome of the comparison the payment information is confirmed to the requesting entity. The invention also relates to a network element, a system and a computer program product implementing the method.

TL;DR: An new concept for construction and cooling of mid and high density equipment (>10 kW/rack), often located in designated areas in Data Centers, called “The TeliaSonera Green room Concept” is presented.
Abstract: This paper and presentation aims at present an new concept for construction and cooling of mid and high density equipment (>10 kW/rack), often located in designated areas in Data Centers. Several of the highlighted solutions has not been invented by TeliaSonera however the concept to combine several of the different solutions in one location and then perform actual verification tests and energy/cooling optimization has not to our knowledge been performed before and that's why we have choosen to call this approach “The TeliaSonera Green room Concept”. The concept includes al infrastructure at a site such as power, back up and cooling but in this paper we only focus on the cooling part.
