TL;DR: In this paper, a multiple compartment air exhaust system comprising first and second compartments, the first compartment having a first air inlet located in its upper portion and a first exhaust opening located in the lower portion, the second compartment having an upper portion with a second exhaust opening, and the first one connecting to the second one by means of a conduit, is described.
Abstract: A multiple compartment air exhaust system comprising first and second compartments, the first compartment having a first air inlet located in its upper portion and a first exhaust opening located in its lower portion, the second compartment having a second air inlet located in its lower portion and a second exhaust opening located in its upper portion. The first exhaust opening is connected to the second air inlet by means of a conduit and means is provided for providing a positive air flow through the first air inlet, first compartment and first exhaust opening through the conduit, the second air inlet, the second compartment and the second exhaust opening.

TL;DR: In this article, a pick-up device for or in combination with a carrier which carrier has a handle having a portion offset from the gravitational line of force passing through the center of gravity of the carrier.
Abstract: A pick-up device for or in combination with a carrier which carrier has a handle having a portion offset from the gravitational line of force passing through the center of gravity of the carrier. The handle comprises two upwardly extending rods joined by first and second horizontal rods, the first of the rods being in a plane above the second of the rods. The pick-up device is provided with slots for engaging the horizontal rods and lifting the carrier. The slots for engaging the first of the rods having a vertically directed wall which contacts the first rod and opposes the horizontal force applied by the first rod which horizontal force results as a vector component of the gravitational force through the center of gravity of the carrier.
