Abstract: A REDUCE [2] program package for solving some mathematical geodesy problems being now under development includes capabilities for solving the problem considered bellow. The geographical coordinates (the geographical densit y BP and the geographical longitude Lp ) of a point P on the earthly ellipsoid are to be calculated when n different points Ci (i = 1,2,. ... n) with their geographical coordinates Bi and Li are given and the azimuths Aip in all points Ci to the point P are measured. For n = 2 an algorithm for calculation of Bp and Lp using REDUCE system is described in [3]. It is based on the presentation of Bp and Lp as Taylor series about the given points Cl and (72 [1]. These series could be written in the following way:
