Abstract: The Semantic Differential as instrument for the measurement of 53 students' attitudes toward the concept, Psychology, was evaluated. Test-retest reliability coefficient was .58. The correlation coefficients between SD and the criterion variables, viz., first semester grades in introductory psychology and class attendance, were nonsignificant.
