TL;DR: The necessity for creating a separate abstract journal on the physics of nanoobjects and nanotechnology, which is a new rapidly developing interdisciplinary knowledge field, is substantiated.
Abstract: The necessity for creating a separate abstract journal on the physics of nanoobjects and nanotechnology, which is a new rapidly developing interdisciplinary knowledge field, is substantiated. The first successes in nanotechnology promise a new scientific-technical revolution. Physics is one of the fundamental bases of nanotechnology and the foundation for this revolution. The publication of a separate journal will permit the data about a greater portion of the research on the physics of nanoobjects and nanotechnology to be gathered in one place.

TL;DR: The participant (actant) included into the actantial structure of a verb is called semantically incorporated, but it has a fixed lexical structure and is not reflected in the superficial structure; for example, “eyes” is the incorporated actant of the verb to “see,”
Abstract: The participant (actant) included into the actantial structure of a verb is called semantically incorporated, but it has a fixed lexical structure and is not reflected in the superficial structure; for example, “eyes” is the incorporated actant of the verb to “see,” cf. я вu∂ел ее Ƨлaэaмu (I saw her with eyes). The taxonomic classes of verbs taking incorporated participants are studied, as well as taxonomic classes of names subject to incorporation. The concept of excorporation is introduced.

TL;DR: A posting grammatical analysis aimed at increasing the efficiency of text processing is discussed, using an external interpreter to determine basic semantic categories in context-free languages.
Abstract: Context-free languages are studied. The semantics of a context-free language is determined by a sequential description of the input rules of formal grammar and inductive expression of each rule through basic and previously determined semantic categories presented as texts on the language under consideration. An external interpreter is used to determine basic semantic categories. A posting grammatical analysis aimed at increasing the efficiency of text processing is discussed.

TL;DR: The semantics of these constructions and their syntactic properties that are determined only by semantic differences are analyzed in this paper, where it is shown that both constructions must be considered comparative, despite the syntactic differences existing between them.
Abstract: The Russian comparative constructions with the word combinations sort of and as if are described with the help of the apparatus of construction grammar that was suggested by Ch. Chilmor. The semantics of these constructions and their syntactic properties that are determined only by semantic differences are analyzed. In particular, it is shown that both constructions must be considered comparative, despite the syntactic differences existing between them. On the other hand, the modal-discursive uses of these constructions that may be of typological interest are analyzed.

TL;DR: A procedure is suggested for building a system for supporting decision-making about the main parameters of the task—a trend model, an analyzed period, and the number of such periods.
Abstract: This paper considers a model for the task of controlling relations with clients by estimating the stability of sales. A procedure is suggested for building a system for supporting decision-making about the main parameters of the task—a trend model, an analyzed period, and the number of such periods. The efficiency of the suggested procedure is demonstrated on real data from the point of view of the prospects of its creation in modern corporative information systems.

TL;DR: All the varieties of the comparative construction with the dependent genitive under consideration have common semantics, according to analysis of data obtained from the National Corpus of the Russian Language and from the Internet.
Abstract: The main types of the comparative construction with the dependent genitive are discussed, i.e., the proper comparative one (Vasya vyshe Vani), the superlative one (luchshe vsekh) and its varieties (slashche sladkogo), (belee snega), and that one of comparison with a point on a scale (yubka nizhe kolena). The work has been made within the framework of Construction Grammar based on data obtained from the National Corpus of the Russian Language and from the Internet. Analysis of the data allows us to conclude that all the varieties of the construction under consideration have common semantics. This is not a mere ordering of two objects X and Y relative to each other but the determination of the location for X relative to Y (expressed by the nominal group in the genitive), whose location is already known, either in a system of values or on a scale.

TL;DR: The study shows that the semantic shift includes not only the change of the lexical meaning proper, but also the restructuring of paradigmatic and syntactic mechanisms of the borrowed unit, which occurs under influence of constructions with participation of original predicates of pain.
Abstract: Constructions with predicates from the semantic zone of pain are considered from a typological perspective. A characteristic feature of this field is its lexeme composition: the major portion of it is formed by verbs borrowed from other semantic fields. A brief review of the fields-sources for pain verbs is given and morphological and syntactical mechanisms of the borrowing of original predicates in the zone of pain are analyzed. The study shows that the semantic shift includes not only the change of the lexical meaning proper, but also the restructuring of paradigmatic and syntactic mechanisms of the borrowed unit, which occurs under influence of constructions with participation of original predicates of pain.

TL;DR: The authors analyzes Russian constructions of the type U X-a Y (X has Y) whose semantics can be reduced neither to existentivity nor to possessivity in pure form.
Abstract: This paper analyzes Russian constructions of the type U X-a Y (X has Y) whose semantics can be reduced neither to existentivity, nor to possessivity in pure form. The paper describes the general semantic and syntactic characteristics of these constructions, as well as the semantic subclasses which this constructions field can be divided into. Analysis of a corpus (about 400 examples) built on the basis of the National Corpus of the Russian language shows that the general characteristics of all the constructions are diven by their common discursive function to communicate new information about X. The common function of all the constructions also motivates the division into the subclasses we have established for the given construction field.

TL;DR: The temporal relation proved to be invariant in the space of three-dimensional time, i.e., to its usage in the past, present, and future, and specified by three parameters such as the dynamics, topological zone, and time marker.
Abstract: Temporal relations is one of the most complicated and poorly understood trends in linguistics. For analysis the linguistic superoperators of the SL semantic language were used. Objective and subjective frames of reference were introduced. The multi-model nature of time was studied and the tendency of natural language to the three-dimensional time model was suggested. The relations specified by temporal prepositions were analyzed. The temporal relation proved to be invariant in the space of three-dimensional time, i.e., to its usage in the past, present, and future, and specified by three parameters such as the dynamics, topological zone, and time marker.

TL;DR: Some parameters of a particular online analytic network GIS responsible for the integration of the latter into a distributed environment are analyzed in detail and examples of application of this environment to basic and applied scientific tasks are illustrated.
Abstract: The technological aspects of the development of distributed intellectual information and the analytic environment for Earth sciences are considered. Experience from construction of network analytic geoinformation systems (GIS) and their application for decision-making support in the geosciences, economics, sociology, and other disciplines suggests some guidelines, which were taken into the account. Some parameters of a particular online analytic network GIS responsible for the integration of the latter into a distributed environment are analyzed in detail. The work is illustrated by examples of application of this environment to basic and applied scientific tasks.

TL;DR: When developing information support for the Honorarium automated system, one of the problems involving mathematical methods was the problem of forming a so-called payroll register, which is classified as an NP-complete problem.
Abstract: When developing information support for the Honorarium automated system, one of the problems involving mathematical methods was the problem of forming a so-called payroll register. This problem is classified as an NP-complete problem. The factorization of this problem enabled us to consider it as a particular case of the knapsack problem. Two methods of solution were proposed regarding the peculiarities of the problem. The computational complexity for all of these is estimated, the scope is indicated, and features of the development are described.
